STOP THE WATER WHILE USING ME! makes biodegradable natural cosmetics with the aim of protecting, saving and donating water. To achieve this, the Hamburg-based company relies on natural ingredients, zero-waste packaging and reduce-waste refill systems and has founded its own water initiative.

Requirements for sustainable packaging material
Ecological, uncoated paper, clean in its appearance and absolutely natural in its feel. In addition, it’s an innovative barrier for soaps that doesn’t leave greasy stains: sealable, guaranteed greaseproof, recyclable and compostable.
Developed with an innovative barrier layer, the Gmund Colors Matt 49 paper was the perfect match for the STOP THE WATER WHILE USING ME! packaging. The ideal showcase for the minimalist black and white design. The result is three natural and strong products:

- Packaging for facial soap with an innovative barrier
- Banderoles for the Waterless single unit products with an innovative barrier

Products that don’t just feature impressively sustainable contents, but also stand out thanks to the fibre-based packaging and the minimalist black and white design. More joint projects followed, such as an Advent calendar, a Christmas kit and a tester kit.
